Who we are
My name is Carla Boyle-Wight (they/she). I am a music educator and student music therapist. I graduated with a Bachelor of Music Education from the University of New Hampshire and completed my student teaching internship in Scarborough, Maine. I then went on to teach in elementary schools in Southern Vermont while taking courses for a Master of Music Education at Castleton University.
I am currently teaching at a small independent school in Southern Vermont and running a private music studio. My next career step is completing an internship and sitting for board exams to become a Board Certified Music Therapist!
I believe that all learners should be welcomed and affirmed in their lessons and I strive to build an environment where each student can be their true selves and explore their creativity, expressiveness, and Awesome Music-Making Power (TM).
